Following the development of leaders and structure to the New Testament books. From creeds to canonizing the Christian writings we now view as the New Testament to the findings of manuscripts and the structure of translations.
This class will take a look at some of the major disciples of the original Apostles and other great leaders in the 2nd & 3rd centuries that helped shape the theology and stability of the church. We will outline some character studies of key leaders who shaped the formation of church doctrine
This class will focus on an outline of early church history in the first 4 centuries detailing the major doctrines and characters that shaped Christianity from Pentecost; to the destruction of the temple; to the time of the great persecutions; to the development of the institutional church in Rome.
